Caterpillar abc

I've been reading the Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle with the younger children. We needed an alphabet chart so the children got printing using an old lid and using red and green which seem to be favourite colours in the book.

I thought that I had had the sense to take a photo of the printing process but apparently not.

Some of the prints were a bit smudged but this made no difference.

Once the prints were dry, I wrote the alphabet in lower case: one letter per print. They were then cut out, ordered and laminated. The whole alphabet only took two laminating sheets- obviously more with a bigger lid.

The end result:
A simple, cheap alphabet poster.

  2. I like the idea of using caterpillar's for spelling. My little daughter would like these too.
