Cats in the garden

London has been hot-really hot for us, up to 31 Celsius. We took pity on the kittens and let them out. They had been really keen to get outside, for the last few weeks and at last, the time arrived.

They climbed

I wondered whether they would be able to get down but that didn't seem to be a problem.

Probably, even hotter than everyone else with their fur coats.

    1. They needed to go out as you found out! Saves too many mad dashes to stop them going out or retrieve them from the patio.

  2. Very cute! It's funny, you were letting your cats out and we were bringing our rabbits in, who were hyperventilating outside in the heat. The downstairs of our house is fairly cool, even in this heat, so they were better off in with us. I draw the line at bringing the chickens in though!!
And thank you so much for leaving messages on the children's blog. I (and they) really appreciate it!

    1. The tree is a great attraction for the cats and is probably cooler, especially in the evening. They seem to come inside in the afternoon presumably to avoid the worst of the heat.

  3. What stunning kittens! Our cats are living outside at the moment. It is a struggle to get them in safe and sound for the night and our evenings are spent enticing hot kitties back inside ;o)

    1. Ours are still a bit cautious but I can see getting them in may well be a problem soon.
